Buy food materials with less fat, fat off the meat before you cook it and prefer broiled meat to fried one. Such small improvements in your life style help a lot in improving your health. You will have less cholesterol and are less prone to heart problems.

Consult your doctor to know more about your foods. You need not to starve to lessen your cholesterol levels. But you have to plan your daily diet. Note down the amount cholesterol in each of your routine food items. Print them and hand them on your fridge and near dining table. Motivate your self to follow them. Pay attention on how your food is prepared; practice to prepare foods with less fat and without losing taste. All these steps combine to make a cholesterol diet.
