Working at home is rampant today as the trend of technology become more accessible. It’s really great working at home without the supervision of a boss or anyone. No one will mandate what to do or what not to do. It is also good that we learn in our own.

I think the e-learning courses are great, too. You can get a college degree online, while still working full time. I work full time so online classes fit my schedule. I usually do most of my homework on the weekends, when I have the time.

The mortgage industry will likely take years to forgive people who have credit blemishes, the crazy issue is that a large portion of the economic hardship was caused by the same companies that now wont provide a mortgage to someone with brusied credit…these companies (aig, bank of america, citi) played roulette with bank funds and killed the secondary marketplace..borrowing tax money to stay afloat, but turning their backs to the homeowners who need help the most

Very good info here. I do want to address the person who seemed a bit disdainful of those who had poor credit. The person said those with good ratings had “earned” them as if those who had bad credit were irresponsible. This is not always the case. We went from perfect credit to credit below 500 due to my husband becoming disabled overnight. We lost 60% of our income instantly. We nearly lost our house and cars but even though we have very, very late payments and a near foreclosure event, we made it through. Our credit is bad now but it was not due to irresponsibility. Just saying…

Well, Backpaging is indeed the ost dangerous way to travel. The main issue i think is not being robbed, especially travelling in poor countries.
Also, the lowcost conditions also expose one to many risks. Eating bad food can take you to hospital.
Also, western tourists in some countries are being targeted by gangster, for robberies, rape or kidnapping. I think that backpaging isn´t a good way to travel!!!!

Absolutely right said, There is beneath the importance of business Travel services. Same was the case with my friend on way when everything was right, but stuck for taxi. This was pointed out by him before. And now I too prefer for Business travel services. Though it cost more but work for importance. I have bookmarked this for UK. Thanks

Great article. However, won’t insurance be one of the first family expenses to go when hard economic times come? I ask because the global financial crisis is going to hit us very hard specially after the dollar crashes due to all the inflation created by the stimulus packages.

Definately a good idea. I´ve been backpacking myself and ended up paying a fortune for my insurance. If I had gone again, I don´t think I would have bothered with insurance…. I would have just taken my chances!! But now that there is cheaper insurance.. I definately think it´ll persuade backpackers to take out insurance in the first place and will increase the appeal of taking all of your belongings with you when you go.
